Solairus Extends Agreement with Portside to Power its Fleet Management Capabilities

Portside’s Avianis FMS solution will serve as the centerpiece of a 10-year extension.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Portside, a leading innovator in technology and software solutions for business and government aviation, today announced it has signed a 10-year agreement with Solairus Aviation to provide fleet management solutions through its newly acquired Avianis platform.

“Today’s announcement demonstrates both the features, flexibility and value in our Avianis platform and the trust large-scale operators like Solairus have in Portside to power mission-critical infrastructure for their fleets and to help them improve their reach and service,” said Alek Vernitsky, CEO of Portside. “Over the course of our agreement with Solairus,  we look forward to providing the technology, systems and expertise that help unlock efficiency at scale.”

Solairus is one of the largest private aviation provider in the United States according to Argus, and operates a fleet of more than 320 aircraft with service to all 50 states, with 20% of operations world-wide. The agreement will help support flight coordination, dispatch, maintenance,  and charter sales team, including the recently announced expansion of its Altitude charter membership program.

In addition to the Avianis FMS, the companies will also collaborate to extend key parts of the Avianis platform to focus on quoting and data interoperability to help Solairus better support its vendor ecosystem and drive efficiency across its aircraft management and charter businesses. The companies will also collaborate on custom enhancements to the Avianis platform focused on security and resiliency.

Holden joins Portside with over two decades of experience leading and scaling high-growth businesses. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Eptura, where he led the integration of multiple acquisitions into a unified global platform, driving operational discipline and go-to-market transformation. He also previously held senior leadership roles at LogicMonitor, Accruent and Forcepoint.
