Jet Aviation Launches Staffing Marketplace Powered by Portside

LAS VEGAS / October 16, 2023 — Jet Aviation announced today that Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace is now available for operators. The online jobs portal provides a digital platform for matching prospective employees and hiring teams with open roles in the aviation industry.

Jet Aviation collaborated with Portside, a technology solutions provider, to develop Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace. The web-based and mobile application is designed to streamline the process of matching aviation professionals with posted job openings. The portal launched for candidates earlier this year and is now available for business aviation companies and operators searching for candidates for open contract, hourly and direct hire positions.

“We are delighted to launch this innovative digital recruitment tool for the aviation industry,” says Elaine Lapotosky, Jet Aviation’s vice president staffing. “As technology continues to evolve in our industry and beyond, we saw a need to provide candidates and hiring teams with a streamlined, digital, and automated platform that replaced a largely manual process. Earlier this year we launched to candidates, providing an online platform for them to build a robust profile and seamlessly search and apply for new jobs. This next phase opens the tool up to business aviation operators, who now have access to a digitized talent pool that is automatically refined according to their requirements, allowing them to effortlessly and efficiently match the right person to the right role.”

Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace brings all aspects of the recruitment process into one centralized digital platform, including application review, tracking, contract, and payroll. Additional payroll support is available through a partnership with Papaya, a global payroll solutions specialist.

"The Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace streamlines a process that has usually been plagued by inefficiencies,” says Alek Vernitsky, Portside’s CEO. “We're proud to have partnered with Jet Aviation Staffing to develop a tool that has potential to transform the hiring process for the entire aviation industry."

The Jet Aviation Staffing Marketplace team will be offering live demonstrations at NBAA, booth C8422. Staffing Marketplace is accessible at https://staffing.portside.co/employer, and the app is now available on the Apple IOS App Store for use by candidates.

News Through a partnership with Tuvoli, booking trips will get even easier for charter operators using Portside's scheduling platform.

Portside and Tuvoli Partner to Deliver Mobile Contracts and Checkout for Portside Scheduling Platforms

LAS VEGAS, NV – October 16, 2022. Through a partnership with Tuvoli, booking trips is about to get faster, easier, and more secure for charter operators using scheduling systems that are part of the Portside platform.

By integrating Tuvoli’s digital checkout experience, operators using scheduling systems like BART and Avianis will be able to leverage the sales workflow that they are familiar with to create quotes while delivering them as mobile-friendly DocuSign contracts with integrated private-aviation-specific credit card processing.

“Our goal has been to reduce friction in the booking process,” says Greg Johnson President/CEO of Tuvoli. “Giving an operator’s customers the ability to confirm a trip in seconds from anywhere has a direct impact on sales for that operator. They close more deals with less work.”

The beauty in this integration is the significant improvement in the experience for the end-customer without disrupting the existing, familiar quote workflow for the charter operator. Security is also increased since card data is tokenized as it is received and is stored securely for future use.

There are no limits on the size of a transaction, total transaction volume or the number of card authorizations (holds) that an operator can process through Tuvoli. Tuvoli’s FDIC insured banking platform has custom tools that aid in matching inbound wires to trips while notifying sales that payment has been received and releasing a credit card hold if one was tied to the transaction.

Tuvoli’s payment engine makes it easy to send wires, ACH payments, and even paper checks to vendors. When the other party also has an account with Tuvoli, payments are instant and available 24/7/365 (like a business aviation version of Venmo).

“Extending the capabilities of Portside’s offering through strategic partnerships that deliver real value has always been our goal. This integration adds to the many tools and capabilities already included in BART and our other scheduling solutions.” said Alek Vernitsky, CEO of Portside. “We are excited to work with Tuvoli to make it easier and safer for our customers to confirm trips and capture payment.”

Both Portside and Tuvoli are exhibiting at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas this week. To see Tuvoli digital checkout in action, drop by Tuvoli at booth C6821 and Portside at booth C9021.
